Have I ever mentioned my best friend Yaelle?
She and I met our first day of college. All freshmen at Vassar attend the BSC (Before School Conference), a camp-type event prior to the start of school. It's an orientation, and a way to ease in to the college experience. It's a two-day thing, with sleeping bags and games, etc. The students are broken up into small groups of about 5-6 students. The groups are numbered. Yaelle and I were both in group 12. After getting our number assignment, we each (separately) made our way to the part of the field labeled with the number 12 (on a paper plate, believe it or not). We were the first ones to arrive at the plate.
I am very shy when meeting new people, bordering on awkward and rude. Yaelle is the complete opposite. She is outgoing and cheerful and friendly. She is my wingman. True to form, as I walked up to the plate that day, Yaelle stuck out her hand, and in her friendliest tone possible said, "HI!! I'm YAELLE!!" To which I replied, "Hi. I'm Danielle." At which point we BOTH said (in unison), "We rhyme!!" And that was all she wrote. We have been best friends ever since. She has not lived near me since college, jet setting to Israel to join the army and then settling in her hometown of Los Angeles. But, we keep in touch by phone and see each other at least once a year. We met our husbands within one month of each other and her daughter Lishai is just four months older than Dylie. She's a little behind with number two. Her second will be born in October.
Why am I boring you all with this story? Well, Yaelle is a very spiritual person. She is an acupuncturist and a Doctor of Chinese Medicine. She does Reiki and she is a gongmaster. (Click her link above to learn more about gonging - it's WILD.) Whenever something needs to happen, she visualizes it happening, and sends positive thoughts to the universe.
Well Internet, that is what I need today. We have two people coming to look at our house. One guy coming at 1:30 PM, and a couple is coming at 7:30 PM. If you get a chance, send a positive thought to the universe on my behalf. As soon as Yaelle wakes up, I'm calling her and asking her to do the same.
good luck!!

You're in the Eastern time zone, right? Just to time my thoughts precisely. Best of luck!

Good luck. As an aside, the school your friend attended in santa monica is right next door to my old Gyno. LOL.
